What is CNIC Tracking?

This service allows you to verify the origin and authenticity of a CNIC number. By decoding the 13-digit sequence, it identifies the gender, tehsil, district, division, and province of the holder based on the official NADRA numbering system.

Global Identity Document Systems

Identity tracking differs significantly across borders. While Pakistan uses a centralized database, other countries utilize varied formats for citizen identification:

Pakistan CNIC (Computerized National Identity Card)

A smart card containing an 11-digit or 13-digit number. It is the primary requirement for voting, banking, and obtaining a passport in Pakistan.

US Social Security Card (SSN)

Unlike the plastic CNIC, the SSN is a paper-based card. It consists of a 9-digit number used to track individuals for taxation and social security purposes in the United States.

Canadian Provincial ID

In Canada, identity documents are often managed at the provincial level. These cards serve as a primary photo ID for residents who do not possess a driver's license.

Understanding the US Green Card

The Permanent Resident Card (commonly known as a Green Card) allows non-citizens to live and work permanently in the United States. While the design has changed multiple times over the decades—including periods where it was pink or blue—the card returned to its iconic green color in 2010 to simplify identification and enhance security features.
